When Bonnie teVelde founded the school, she learned that 80% of new students quit music lessons in the first year. She decided to research the reason for those failures, and came to believe that each student has a unique and individual learning style. She now utilizes testing that identifies these learning styles, and uses results to place students with their optimal teacher.

In 2012, teVelde started the process of obtaining a patent for our revolutionary new method to teach Absolute Perfect Pitch. The TAP Method is currently being used in our classrooms with over 90% success rate!
